Hello, every time I play Devil May Cry 5, my computer crashes and won’t restart – it often fails completely until I disconnect all peripherals, repeatedly press the power button, and then reconnect the power cable to get it running again. What is causing this issue? Could there be a problem with my graphics card? What steps can I take to resolve this?

GPU: RX 590
CPU: Ryzen 5 3600
Mobo: MSI B450 Gaming Plus
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws V 2400 (8x2)
PSU: FSP Hexa+ 500W

Regarding other personal computer games, do they show the identical pattern? If not, it could indicate a problem specific to the *Devil May Cry 5* / *DMC5* game or its underlying engine. Are you playing the game on Steam? Have you attempted to reinstall it as well?

Certainly, this has occurred three times consecutively since my initial launch of Fortnite, where it prompted me for suggested configurations (I selected “yes” and then the game subsequently crashed). I possess the game on Steam, and no, I did not attempt a reinstall due to the lengthy four-day download process.

If it shuts down and refuses to restart until you reconnect the power cord, your power supply has reached its maximum capacity (a safety mechanism prevents a fire).

Don’t just disconnect the power cord; you also need to take out the mouse, keyboard, headset, LAN port, HDMI cable, and power cord. If the problem persists with the power supply, I'll upgrade it shortly. Is a 650W unit sufficient?
