The issue you're experiencing is common in fast-paced games like CS:GO. Your frame rate drops significantly when facing smoke, but remains stable otherwise. There might be settings or workarounds you can try without upgrading your hardware.

What specifications? I’d reduce texture quality. NOTED: I’m currently playing CS:GO.

All configurations are set to their minimum. The system runs on a 2-core quad QQ6600 GT 630 with the remaining components from an older prebuilt Dell setup. It’s not top-tier, but it can handle CS.

It's merely a segment of the game. It occurred frequently during my sessions on my laptop. Just avoid checking them closely.

You're left with no choice but to upgrade. The current settings are set to the minimum, and your hardware isn't up to the task—your GPU is the weak point.

Other players use specialized equipment to maintain smooth performance, not just powerful hardware.

You'll need to accept the situation. Your hardware isn't very strong, and performance drops significantly at lower settings.

If "beefy" refers to something average, you can build a similar setup for under $100. Switching to a GTX 1050 would improve performance significantly.

Absolutely, on my current machine nothing drops below 60fps at 1440p. The only option seems to be upgrading, though I don’t think it’s necessary for CS:GO. I experienced some lag initially, which was bothersome, but I managed to adjust it. It didn’t cause me too many issues.
