I improved my power supply by switching to a 1000w model, which resolved the instability. Previously, I used a 750w unit paired with an RX 7900 XTX, which was suggested to work best with a 850w PSU. After more than a year without problems, the sudden crashes became apparent. I attempted a Windows reinstall before changing the PSU, which helped avoid driver conflicts and prevented automatic restarts. It seems my Windows setup might have been affected. If you're experiencing similar issues, consider upgrading your PSU to match your GPU's requirements. If problems persist, a fresh Windows installation could be beneficial.

In summary:
- My current 1000w PSU fixed the crashes.
- The RX 7900 XTX needed a higher wattage PSU.
- Previous troubles included driver issues and unstable restarts.
- I've tried reinstalling Windows and updated drivers, but some problems remain.
- If you're facing comparable symptoms, changing your PSU to the recommended level is advisable.

I haven't been a PC specialist, but I've dealt with similar issues before. Concerning the driver problem, I faced the same situation while playing games once. At that time, I was running version 25 of AMD Adrenaline, which led to my game crashing twice. After switching to version 24, it stopped happening again. It looks like the newest AMD Adrenaline version still has stability issues. For the other issue, based on your notes, it might be related to your HDD. I once heard a thumping noise from an old PC, and it was due to my HDD not spinning properly, causing the sound and making my PC freeze. This matches your worry about moving your PC often, as HDDs are more prone to shock damage than other parts. Regarding the coil whine sound, it could originate from either the power supply unit or the HDD. I can't be certain because I don’t know its exact nature or location, but it’s probably the HDD. Try taking out the HDD and testing your computer to see if the problem continues.

Thanks for the update. Your PSU upgrade appears to have resolved the issues. The coil whine and thumping noise seem to be gone now.
