Recently I've faced problems with Rainbow Six Siege on PC. I experience random crashes where the screen freezes completely, audio remains, and the game simply closes without a crash screen. An odd thing is that Discord on my monitor reloads, which is unclear whether it helps or not. I've tried almost everything online—reinstalling multiple times, checking settings, adjusting permissions, disabling fullscreen optimizations, and even verifying BIOS settings—but nothing has resolved the issue. Changing the display mode from borderless to normal fullscreen altered the crash behavior. Before that change, the game would just close entirely. I haven't tested any hardware modifications either. Everything else works perfectly.

Specs: i5-9400F, GTX 1660, 16GB 3600MHz CL18, SSD drive, used HDD previously. Last time it crashed was on an SSD, but I'm not sure if that's the cause. My next step would be to reinstall on the HDD. Anyone have any advice?

still relying on the old PSU? 700 Watt PSU anyone explain why this PSU is so problematic? Coolermaster Extreme Power Plus 700W http://www.bestdirect.ca/products/229629...LERMASTER/ most folks say a 620 watt PSU isn't sufficient for everything, and that a 700W unit is better... forums.

replaced it soon after that comment, using an NZXT C750 80+ Gold. everything worked smoothly afterward, and this has been occurring more often lately.
