Game crashes on my system after launching Battlefield 4.
I play Battlefield 4 online for short sessions and my PC often crashes after just a few minutes. I can switch to other titles like Watchdogs and FC4 without issues. Running Furmark for half an hour works fine, but I struggle with BF4 properly. My hardware includes an FX8350 Asus Crosshair V formula, EVGA GTX 970, 8GB DDR3, 1600MHz RAM, Seasonic S12 620W, and Corsair H100i cooler. The specs are solid, but I’m experiencing stability problems. I’ve updated the game to the latest version. Any suggestions or fixes would be greatly appreciated.
Ensure your second monitor is set up for CPU/GPU tracking during gameplay. Check temperatures and look for unusually high readings. If needed, run a basic stress test and share the corresponding temps.
PSU refers to power supply unit. If you're concerned about overheating, check its condition and ensure proper ventilation.
Mt processor runs at 4.6Ghz after overclocking. During 30 minutes of prime95 testing, temperatures stayed around 62°C. While using wtchdogs and fc4, no readings exceeded 70°C. I’ll review the temps in BF4 next.
You're experiencing a problem with BF4 where the system crashes to blue screen after sleeping and resuming, especially when putting the computer to sleep. When starting from scratch or rebooting, it works fine. It might be similar to someone else's issue—try restarting and see if that resolves it.
It's still powering down. I even adjusted the clocks and voltages to save power.
