I just installed Rainbow Six Siege on my PC. I have an FX-9590, Gtx1060 6g, and 8GB of RAM. My system specs are solid enough for high-quality gameplay, but after a few minutes it freezes and I need to restart. I lowered the settings to high and ran a benchmark test, which showed impressive frames—100fps minimum—but when I started a match my PC crashed and had to reboot again. Could you offer some advice?

standard procedure: refresh drivers, clean BIOS, monitor GPU/CPU temps, review system logs, check game forums for solutions. If nothing helps, consider reinstalling Windows from the ground up—especially for games, which can be frustrating. Apologies for the inconvenience.

It seems the crash isn't coming from the game but from your computer's hardware. Have you considered having your CPU overclocked?

I own my CPU with full specifications: FX-9590, GPU Asus Strix OC 6g, 8GB RAM, MOBO:V Crosshair, PSU 500W, HDD 250x2. In the BIOS it's set to high performance, but at 1 minute into logging in the PC it crashes.

Restore the game to its original settings and attempt play again after updating the drivers.

I noticed the performance improves initially but then the game freezes and crashes upon restarting.

The issue isn't related to NVIDIA experience. It appears unrelated, and most solutions don't resolve the problem. Even opening basic apps like Discord or Steam doesn't fix it.

Interesting situation. Just received the latest update for siege today. It only lasts about 5-10 minutes, but it fully locks up my system. No matter if I had my hardware OC or not, the issue appears after just one second of play. The following second shows a black screen and forces me to restart my PC. I can't pinpoint the exact cause. First, I updated both my BIOS and GPU drivers yesterday after finishing siege. So it might be one of those. But I don’t want to go back. I suspect something else could be the culprit. Unfortunately, the only other possibility is my power supply. My problem seems linked to BSOD and GSOD events shortly after playing, while all other games in my library run smoothly.
