Initially, I tried turning off all mods, but the game still crashes. It loads into the menu, and clicking Continue causes a crash. When I go to New Game, it also crashes again. Even after disabling mods in Mod Originator, the issue persists. Could you provide any assistance? Thanks!
For the standard Skyrim version, not the SE edition, consider getting the 2010 DirectX Redist. It’s missing from the default install and can lead to crashes, particularly with ENB enabled. My sister-in-law’s machine experienced this issue. If it doesn’t resolve the problem, back up your Data folder and reinstall the game.
