Game crashes due to excessive VRAM usage, yet it functioned normally previously.
Specs: CPU AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 8-core at 3.80 GHz, GPU AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT with 8 GB VRAM, 16 GB RAM, Two Terabyte SSDs.
I’m facing VRAM crashes during high intensity gameplay in titles like Modern Warfare 3 and Icarus, but managed to run them smoothly at lower settings before. Now even basic menus in Modern Warfare freeze without a log warning. After uninstalling the graphics driver via DDU and reinstalling through AMD Adrenalin, it sometimes works temporarily. I’ve checked my BIOS, RAM, and SSDs, but nothing seems stable.
*Edit* Just returned from a dead PC—likely a power supply or motherboard issue; will update after further investigation.
I haven't altered them beyond their minimum possible settings, since modern warfare is becoming a priority in the menu while I attempt to download the shaders and encounter issues with Icarus crashing during geography loading as I load in. Tho I haven't tried the older version of Adrenaline yet.
