I've noticed an unusual issue while playing games. After installing Doom, the game runs smoothly for a short time at stable frame rates, then suddenly drops to low 24-30 fps for a few seconds—even in areas where I usually see solid FPS. I've tested Vulkan and OpenGL along with V-Sync settings, but the problem remains. It also happens in Assassin's Creed Origins, though less often. I'm using a laptop, which has experienced significant thermal throttling, with my CPU reaching over 95°C and GPU temperatures hitting around 90°C. I've tried undervolting and turning off turbo boost, but the issue continues. It seems the problem isn't just about temperatures; it might be related to the game itself. Once the bug resolves, the games consistently maintain smooth frames above 60 FPS regardless of CPU throttling. Any suggestions?

Another possible app might be managing those cycles during those times.

I confirmed all extra apps were turned off and silenced Windows Defender.

Before the situation changed, initiatives were already underway. Projects could start operations.
