Hey guys I wanted to play the game Aura Kingdom , an MMORPG on Steam . It is a free game and has a size of 6 GB . Since I wanted to play that game and also because I didnt have such great bandwidth and network data , I asked my cousin bro to gimme that game . He already had that . He allowed me to copy the games data from his computer to a hardrive . I copied all of those to my steam Library . Now what should I do ??? And is there a way to get the Steam Activation Key for a free steam game ???? Please answer my questions everyone . Thanks in advance

Don't require the activation code—place the files in the standard Steam applications directory, buy the game, and let it recognize any existing installations; you're finished.

You must still "download" the game. Steam checks for existing files and only transfers the missing or newer ones.

Save the app in your Steam library folder, then open the page and click "download" or "install" to locate the game automatically.

I also attempted that, but it doesn't appear to function.

You can tell steam to download the game or there is an option to detect games on your hdd and it will add automatically.

Not on my PC at the moment, but I faced a similar issue. Experienced poor internet and advised a friend to download all my games. I checked the settings and found a tab labeled library (probably). There should be an option to detect games or scan the library there. Also, confirm the game is present in Steam > Steam Apps > common folder.

In the settings or properties area, you'll find numerous tabs displaying all the Steam configurations.
