It just happened in Fortnite. I first boosted the GPU but then reset it to factory settings. Temperatures sit between 74-78°C. Underclocking didn’t help. Updated on August 29, 2020 by Avocheeseado

Check for any issues in your setup. Is the environment overly dusty? Could your GPU be faulty? Are you running on a dedicated GPU versus the one integrated with your CPU?

It's not dusty at all. I'm utilizing the dedicated GPU. That would be unfortunate if my GPU were faulty, since they're quite costly.

Have you considered reverting to previous software versions?

It's been occurring for roughly six months, getting worse lately. I'd need to visit a specialist for eight-month-olds.

Hello everyone. I understand this was shared before, but I’m uploading it here in the appropriate subforum now. If a moderator notices, could you please remove my previous version from PC Gaming? This is quite urgent. I’ve been playing Fortnite (though not everyone enjoys it) and have experienced crashes today. The error messages are “Error” or “GPU crash.” I lost potential money in a tournament because of it. It also occurs when I get friend requests or notifications from Epic Games. I’ve tried everything possible—updating DDU drivers, reinstalling Windows, updating the Epic launcher, changing everything. My system specs are: PCPartPicker Part List Type Item Price CPU AMD Ryzen 5 2600 3.4 GHz 6-Core Processor £134.99 @ CCL Computers CPU Cooler Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler £28.99 @ AWD-IT Motherboard MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX ATX AM4 Motherboard £107.39 @ Amazon UK Memory Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory £58.38 @ Aria PC Storage Sabrent Rocket Q 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive £109.99 @ Amazon UK Video Card MSI GeForce RTX 2060 6 GB VENTUS XS OC Video Card £293.47 @ Ebuyer Case Phanteks Eclipse P400A Digital ATX Mid Tower Case £79.99 @ AWD-IT Power Supply Corsair CX (2017) 650 W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply £60.24 Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts Total £873.44 Generated by PCPartPicker 2020-08-29 12:47 BST+0100

Execute a memory test by opening Windows Memory Diagnostic (press Win+R, type mdsched.exe and press Enter).
