Hey there! I've been diving into many games lately, but now I'm back to Dota 2. It's been a while since my last session, so feel free to see me as a beginner. I'm looking for some advice—my biggest worry is counter-picking, though I know there are resources to help. Any tips would be super helpful for someone just starting out!

Consider these platforms: http://www.dotabuff.com/ http://www.dotahut.com/ I often run one on my second screen while drafting. Dotabuff offers detailed player tracking for deeper game analysis.

This approach effectively challenges the counter. Unless it resembles those overpowered characters, I don’t see much cause for concern. It’s similar to Phantom Lancer or Huskar. I’m not sure if you needed further assistance.

OMFG noob noob! Uninstall Dota GTFO feed report! He mentioned treating him like a regular newbie. Jokes aside, check out the purge video "wecome to dota, you suck)" and don’t ignore bot matches. They’re great for sharpening last-hit skills and trying out builds. Counterpicking is tough because the same hero can have two totally different setups. Some sites might help, but personally I think they ruin the experience.
