This board works well for overclocking. You can push the CPU to 4.5 or even 4.0.

If you wish to stay safe, I would increase the clock speed to 4.0, but I've noticed others achieving 4.5Ghz on the same configuration.
Be aware that pushing your CPU this hard can put extra strain on it and might cause damage if not handled carefully.
Ensure you have excellent cooling and keep an eye on your temperatures!

Motherboard is fine for overclocking FX-6300, but not recommended for FX-8.
However, if you're thinking about purchasing either CPU or motherboard, think again.
FX is outdated and even after overclocking, the cores remain slow.
If you're buying new, consider Kaby Lake or Ryzen based on your requirements.
