The performance will likely be average, but BF3 should work fine since it's an older title. BF4 is more demanding on the CPU and makes the most of extra cores. You should see smooth frames, though a quad-core processor would be ideal. I'm uncertain about GTA V, but it probably gains from the additional cores once it's released on consoles.
G3258 struggles significantly in CPU-heavy games, particularly those utilizing more than two cores such as Battlefield and possibly GTA 5. Avoid this model, opt for at least an i3.
I'll use that Pentium for a year and then I'll upgrade to an I5 4440.
