P5k pro bios on a freaking P5KPL-Am, probably just because the 31-35 die is the same but 35 is in a higher bin with more features. I’m about to take this photo before I accidentally break the board. This bios was posted on an ASRock G31M-V2 but ended up damaging it. I’ll just submerge it in water to see if it works. Today I turned it on and after a few tries it started functioning again, so maybe there’s a chance it will work once more. I’m not sure if I messed something up now. My goal is to test if I can run this without breaking the board and passing 500FSB—stock bios aren’t reliable and won’t recognize SATA HDDs after 400FSB, even though it seems capable of higher speeds.

It seems the board stops posting once items are added to the bios, which is nice. I’m curious if using a p5q bios would work.
