Ubisoft restored every key function. G2A also provided refunds for those impacted (when using G2A Shield). I frequently buy and sell through there without problems. I recommend getting the shield protection if you're concerned.

They didn't bring back every key. I lost mine, but received a refund from g2a thanks to the shield.

It's strange to hear that Ubisoft restored all keys. Probably not what they intended.

You received a refund if you purchased and enabled the game before it was revoked. If you bought later when revocation began, activation wasn’t possible, so refunds were issued instead.

In the past two years, every purchase I made outside Steam sales came from G2A. It's an amazing platform where you get a big discount. Most of the negative reviews come from users who haven't tried it and simply dislike it. G2A functions like eBay for game keys, with real feedback available. Just stick to sellers with positive reviews, and it works well.

I placed the order on Friday but haven't received confirmation of payment yet, so the transaction remains in pending status.

Following additional checks on the issue of keys bought illegitimately through EA’s Origin store, we are restoring access for users who had already activated and begun playing the titles," explained a Ubisoft official to Eurogamer. The company noted that while most visitors enjoy a smooth experience, there remains no adjustment to stop fraudulent keys from being offered. The decision hinges on whether the pricing is competitive enough to justify a small risk. Often it is. I tend to favor official dealers.
