Maybe it wasn<|pad|>, just a completely different key was needed. Let's just admit it cost you some money. I don't usually preorder games; I mostly get them through Humble Bundle because I love indie titles. These games often have fresh mechanics that stand out, while big studios tend to play it safer. G2A seems like the best way to get games at a lower cost eventually.

The rule of thumb with G2A is to never spend any money at G2A that you are uncomfortable taking a risk with. There's always a chance (however unlikely) that your keys may not work, may be foreign, or could be revoked. Given the absurdly low prices, that risk may be palatable to you. There's just no certain way to know how your key was obtained or how "legit" it actually is—G2A themselves may not even know. Personally, I stick to authorized sources.

Checked it, but the key remains unchanged. I tend to purchase many quirky games from g2a that I wouldn't usually buy. Monaco and Super Meat Boy are my current favorites.

Purchased multiple titles on that site, such as CS:GO, BF4 and BF4 Premium. All genuine; just add G2A Shield for optimal performance. Excellent customer support as well.

It's completely authentic. You can pay via PayPal and also use the G2A Shield for a fee. It gives you a verified key that works. I purchase all my games from G2A because it's cheaper elsewhere. Why stick to Steam and Origin when you can save money?

Cdkeys has never caused me any issues, and they're comparable. As long as you opt for PayPal or G2A's safeguards, everything should be okay.
