Check if the phone connects to Wi-Fi without using a connected device. Use a different physical device for testing.

I don’t have any other connected device besides the one I own. I might use an old laptop, but I’m not sure it would have a fast internet port, especially if it’s from a previous generation.

You can check your speed test scores. Retry if needed. It might be a Wi-Fi restriction or an ISP problem.

I used a laptop connected straight to the router. It had a Gigabit ethernet port, which helps rule out an ISP problem. My phone works smoothly at 300mbps, and I’m on a 350mbps plan, so that’s consistent. The issue seems to be with my PC.

I checked parts of my network using my old laptop. It was directly linked to the router with a speed of 372 Mbps. Through my Powerline adapter in my room, it reached 220 Mbps—still more than double what my PC received in the same setup. I think there might be a hardware or software problem on my PC, but I’m not sure where the limitation lies.

Check the system by starting from a Linux live disk to determine if the problem lies with software.

I'm new to this and don't have a ready example, but I'll try my best.
