You're experiencing a noticeable drop in FPS when using G-Sync in GTA V, especially in different environments. This behavior can be normal depending on the situation. In many games, G-Sync helps smooth out performance, but in titles like GTA V—where frame rates are already high and stability is key—these adjustments might affect how the game handles rendering. The differences you're seeing (65–80 FPS with G-Sync vs. around 70–90 without) suggest the game is optimizing differently based on scene or load. It's not necessarily a bug, but it does highlight how G-Sync can interact with specific game mechanics and settings.

It could be due to V-sync or Fast Sync being enabled, or another frame rate adjustment. It might also be a 75Hz display.
