Hi, to increase the overclocking of your G. Skill Ripjaws X series 1600 ram, you'll need to adjust the settings on your system. Check the recommended speed range for your specific configuration and aim for a stable performance. Your current specs suggest a good starting point around 4.0 GHz, but fine-tune based on stability and performance needs.

You shouldn't, 1600mhz is the intended memory speed for your 4790K. If you aim for higher speeds, purchase faster memory, but exceeding 1600mhz may cause overclocking of your CPU's memory controller and increase heat generation.
