Hello, I'm checking the required PSU wattage for overclocking my FX 8350 to 4.5/4.7 while using an RX 580. Is this power supply sufficient?

550w quality PSU.
Not sufficient, please.
Avoid CF, your fx8350 is already limiting the 1 rx 580.

That's not sufficient. Don't forget CF, your fx8350 is already limiting the 1 rx 580. To prevent confusion, the Sentey will manage FX-8350 and RX 580 well, but it isn't a dependable power supply brand and might cause issues because of its low build quality and performance.

Bottlenecking isn't just about the CPU, it's a complex issue. The FX8350 might not be the main problem for overclocking. Check this out:

Also, wattage isn't the only thing to consider when overclocking. The PSU quality and electrical performance play a bigger role in achieving better results.

Another common inquiry is about the motherboard you possess. Certain boards offer greater stability when overclocking, such as improved VRMs for managing heat, whereas others fall short in this regard.

I have the Mother Msi 970a Sli Krait Edition Amd Am3+, and I found it to be a great choice for overclocking. For an RX 580 CF with FX 8350 OC up to 4.7ghz, what power supply wattage should I expect? I need a reliable one, as prices in Argentina are quite high, so I’m looking for the most affordable yet safe option. Thanks.
