Hey there, so I'm facing a strange issue—I pushed my FX 8320 to 4GHz in BIOS, but when I switch to desktop and check Task Manager, it says the target speed is 3.5 and the CPU is actually running at 3.4GHz. Meanwhile, AMD Overdrive shows the target at 3.5 while the processor is at 4.0GHz. Any advice?

BIOS indicates the CPU is operating at a specific temperature. Ensure Cool N' Quiet is turned off, AMD Turbo Core Technology is disabled, and monitor temperatures to avoid excessive heat.

BIOS informs me that the CPU is running at a certain temperature. Make sure Cool N' Quiet is turned off. Disable AMD Turbo Core Technology as well. Also, check that your temperatures are within acceptable ranges. The issue was related to Cool N' Quiet; I forgot to disable it, and now everything is functioning properly.
