I noticed your 8300 is running quite hot, so I went ahead and lowered the voltage. Changed from auto to 1.258 (it should max out around 1.275v). Before that, it was pushing up to 3.8ghz on a decent 970A motherboard. After the change, it's stuck around 3.6ghz most of the time—sometimes hits 3.7 but drops back quickly. While it's cooler, performance in games is noticeably worse. Any tips or advice would be appreciated.
