Seeking advice to reach higher frame rates. Using FX-6300 at 4.5 with GTX 960. System name is Bad Wolf in your notes.

We're discussing ARMA here. The FX-6300 will handle 750 Ti in that scenario. To maintain over 30fps, start with the lowest settings and only upgrade if necessary.

arma struggles with efficient multi-core processing, while the FX lacks strong IPC, leading to poor performance in arma.

I would have loved the money for an Skylake or Zen when it launches. I got the FX because I’d used it before in another system and it performed well. At $125, buying it felt pretty affordable at the time. I’m just checking if anyone can suggest ways to optimize the game. I have school and a football match tomorrow—have a great night!

The 6400 item is priced at 182 dollars and has the potential to cause FX damage.

That's correct, but the amount in dollars depends on the local currency conversion.

I have a budget of $6400, which covers $250 for the PC and an extra $80 for a budget mobile. The funds came from my savings over many years plus a generous gift from my mother. I’m not sure how she managed to set aside such money for me. Living with Spina Bifida limits my income, but my father supports me by paying for my truck. I’m currently enrolled in school and haven’t worked yet. I’m considering rebuilding my PC, though I realized I’d prefer not to take on the risk if something goes wrong. Fortunately, I found a local shop that replaced my faulty 970 gaming card in just two days and offers a warranty option for customers.

If you enjoy working on computers, it makes sense to consider that store, though school comes first. Don't worry if you're not great at ARMA right away—it won't disappear soon, and other similar games will keep going because people still care about them.
