Hey there. I just started and someone said this CPU with fewer cores but more than Intel might not perform well in single, dual, or quad-core games. I checked the benchmark for Resident Evil 6 and it ran over 100 FPS on ultra 1080p. Here are some games you should know: Resident Evil Revelations 2, Resident Evil Evil 4 HD, Resident Evil 5, 6, Crysis 1, 2, 3, Dead Space 1, 2, 3, Metro Exodus, Batman Arkham Origins, City, Asylum, The Evil Within, Middle Earth Shadow of Mordor, Rise of Rome, AC 3, AC 4, AC Rogues, Max Payne 1, 2, 3, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Hitman Absolution, Payday, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2/3, Code Ghosts & Code Aw, La Noire, Splinter Cell Blacklist, Conviction, League of Legends. Your specs are: CPU FX 6300 @ 3.5 GHz, GPU GTX 750 with 8 GB DDR3 RAM. No fanboy vibes, just the facts. Let me know if you need anything else.

It's okay if your motherboard is decent; boost it to around 4GHz if possible. If you can afford it, consider an R9 380 PS. Otherwise, go with an i3 or i5.

You're safe, no need to worry about overclocking. It's perfectly fine as is.

Yes, particularly with this GTX 750 Ti which is a fairly modest graphics card.

I previously had it, it functions properly and I managed to upgrade it to 4.1 GHz on my M5A97R2.0 motherboard.

It's unclear if you've increased the overclocking settings. The GPU might not be as strong as you think.

They'll handle those games smoothly. In the future, DX12 and Vullan will provide an improvement.

The FX 6300 works well, though your graphics card isn't performing optimally.

People often focus more on the FX 6300 during specific periods. Yes, performance can vary based on timing and conditions.
