Recently, we've noticed some disappointing ports for PC games. First Arkham Knight was so flawed that developers had to recall all units in an attempt to resolve the problems. Of course, as we know, that didn<|pad|>'s efforts fell short and technical issues persisted. Then came the Black Ops 3 port, which also suffered from multiple problems making it unplayable. Activision shared a patch on their forum that might address some of the issues, though it remains imperfect. It's becoming clear a pattern is emerging, and I'm curious about your thoughts. Is this the latest trend? Will we keep seeing lower-quality ports? Share your opinions in the comments.

Bad ports have always existed. It's just the same routine.

Let me just gaze into my crystal ball—oh wait, I forgot I can't foresee the future. But if I had to make a guess, port closures will likely continue for a while longer since they've mostly escaped consequences so far, except for Arkham Knight. Perhaps if folks stopped preordering, we'd see a slower decline. Still, expecting people to be wise is at best foolish...

2015 proved to be a favorable year. Some issues will inevitably arise. 2014 was a challenging one.

I believe you're focusing on the incorrect area. While Arkham Knight was disappointing, the entire Arkham series has faced significant issues when released on PC. Many CoD titles in the series also have problematic PC versions, particularly since MW2. I’ll also include Mortal Kombat X in that discussion. However, PC ports have improved considerably, with titles like Metal Gear Solid V and Mad Max receiving strong reception. The Witcher 3 is another example of a major multiplatform success this year. Overall, I think it’s wise to invest in well-made games and avoid those that don’t live up to the standard. I genuinely recommend this approach, as I’ve had many positive experiences with quality games recently.

Console games are terrible, and console players tend to purchase low-quality titles. Avoid buying bad games. The right comparison is that you can't make a perfect turd.
