I checked my 7850 on Furmark and the highest temperature reached was 73 degrees, with the fan running fairly loud but not excessively so. Are those temperatures considered high? And does a noisy fan usually indicate it’s failing or just operating normally?

73 degrees Celsius isn't that high.
The fan might need a bit of cleaning.
Be concerned only if it goes past 90C.

The fans are clean, making it shine even on the heatsink, though over 60-65% is still apparent.
