Functions in 'Bridge' but not in 'Router'.
You're dealing with a connectivity issue between your local network and the external server. The fact that your friend can connect when using bridge mode suggests the problem lies in how your device is communicating on the network or with the server's public IP. It might be related to DNS resolution, firewall rules, or network configuration settings.
My guess is the port forwarding is not working. Some ISP's dont let you change those settings or maybe the software is bugged. The reason it works in bridge mode is because the router portion is disabled in that mode. Which means no router based firewall and no NAT.
If it functions in bridge mode, the issue likely lies in your setup. IPs/ports aren't functioning correctly. Putting your router in bridge mode might not be the right approach—consider using a DMZ host for your computer's IP. If you share your IP/Port configuration, we can assist further.
