Over the past while my PC fails to hibernate correctly and instead boots up after a delay, sometimes even briefly. Could adjusting certain options help keep it asleep as intended? The powercfg -lastwake command showed no reason for waking it.

This can be frustrating to resolve. Frequently keyboards, mice or other USB devices can jolt the system out of sleep, acting quickly and persistently. You can adjust these configurations; a helpful resource is available online: Prevent a Mouse or USB Device from Waking Windows from Sleep Mode (online-tech-tips.com). The same settings can be found in Control Panel > Devices and Printers, which is simpler to use than Device Manager.
