Is there a difference? I like to use borderless so I can alt-tab out of games faster, but not having the green check mark in GeForce experience is annoying me.(They recommend full-screen)

Never experienced windowed or borderless windowed mode before; always used full screen.

The distinction lies in the fact that switching tabs with the alt key opens the game as if it were another window, while the border disappears. This might slightly affect performance, though it's not substantial.

Running apps in full screen gives them complete access to the display, while windowed mode requires tools like Explorer to manage the window size. This allows more control when using exclusive mode.
