You only need a $35 joystick and a good computer! Flight sims demand a lot more gear and seldom reach 60fps.

I don’t have the perfect workstation setup. If I could, I’d prefer something better than a cheap joystick under $35.

FS really needs only a basic joystick. Honestly, going all-in would be excessive, but rudder pedals are something you could imagine. If you opt for HOTAS or Yoke in FS, you're showing real commitment. FS is about moving from one location to another, learning or practicing, and taking in the scenery along the way. DCS? That’s about flying fighter jets while monitoring opponents. Without HOTAS and VR, you’re not really playing—it’s pointless.
