Front Rad and GPU connections
Hi guys, I'm working on a water cooled custom loop for an Enthoo Elite with a big 560 quad rad and four 140mm in the front. I'm trying to decide whether to place the ports on top or at the bottom of the case. I think it would be simpler if they were at the bottom for a draining port, but I want the top ones just for aesthetics and use the drain option. Would that make flushing easier? Also, regarding the 1080TI Aorus WB, I need help removing the water stopping plugs from the back of the waterblock. How should I do that?
The orientation shouldn't affect the outcome. Issues will arise only if air isn't fully removed from the radiator and an air pocket remains after filling. Placing ports at the top helps avoid this, whereas bottom ports may trap air in the end chamber. I believe the included box should contain tools for a hex key port that fits G1/4 connectors. These are typically available in Allen keys or wrenches, found in most hardware stores or on a Swiss Army knife style tool. If not, please share a picture.
