Yes - that seems like the cause. The pin was displaced from its position and disrupted the connection it needed. If you're skilled in soldering and have the tools, simply reinsert it, solder from the back side of the board, and it should work fine. Be careful not to apply excessive heat (maximum 400°F/204°C) so the plastic bracket doesn't melt. If that's not possible, you can warm the pin with a soldering iron and then reinsert it while applying a thin layer of flux at the pin and connection points.
