I'm planning to assemble a PC this weekend and it doesn't have any operating system installed yet. I'm considering installing Windows 11 right away, which means finding an OEM key would be straightforward. Those are inexpensive and widely available for Windows 10. But 11 is newer, so I'm unsure if they're still readily accessible or pricier to obtain. Do I understand correctly that you might expect more difficulty getting a key for 11 compared to older versions?

I just got 10 and upgraded then. It looks like there aren’t any Win 11 keys available on eBay right now, so they haven’t become widely available yet.

The recent launch would likely not result in an instant surge of inexpensive, unclaimed access codes for a popular item.

Gamivo seems to offer the 11 keys at fair rates. I’ve generally experienced success with them on different keys before.

I just set it up using a Windows 10 Pro OEM key. The top benefit is you don’t need to install Windows 10. Just install Windows 11 and input the Windows 10 key.
