Recently, when I play games on my computer, I experience consistent frame drops for brief periods after only a few minutes of gameplay. The game then returns to its normal framerate. Despite reinstalling Windows, updating all drivers, and applying numerous game optimizations, the issue persists. Typically, I achieve a stable 60 frames per second at 1080p resolution with medium to high settings, but this frequently decreases to approximately 15-20 frames during those brief dips.

Hardware Specifications:
AMD FX-8350 Black Edition Vishera 8-Core Processor
Asus Sabertooth 990FX Motherboard
16 GB RAM
Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB Superclocked Graphics Card
500 GB Samsung SSD
1 TB Hitachi Hard Drive (7200 RPM)
60 Hz Monitor

Regarding your system’s firmware: What is the manufacturer and model of your power supply unit, along with its date of purchase? Have you attempted to remove and re-install your graphics card drivers? Could you specify which operating system you are using?

I'm uncertain regarding my BIOS settings, but the power supply unit is a 500-watt 80+ Gold EVGA model that was purchased approximately one year and six months prior. I’m currently operating with Windows 10 Pro version 1809 (build 17763.379).
