Freezing
Freezing
Hello, I'm experiencing unexpected freezes while playing games.
At first, I assumed it was my GPU, so I upgraded from an rx-580 to a RTX 4080 which actually reduced the FPS even more.
Then I considered the possibility of insufficient RAM and installed two 8GB 3200mhz modules, bringing the total to 32GB.
Unfortunately, they aren't identical, but all four are showing proper usage in Task Manager.
I'm not sure what's causing the issue.
I don’t have any freezing problems on other platforms, and I haven’t noticed any overheating.
Please help me. ;(
Mixing RAM sticks is never advised, even if they are the same named separate kits, they're never guaranteed to work together. Can you list the rest of your specs, cpu, motherboard, make and model of your psu? Could you also run

and post a link to your results, just to see if anything obvious pops up.

Update the bios and chipset driver.
Transfer OS and applications to an SSD.
For testing, use only a matched pair of RAM sticks in the correct slots.
Execute UBM using this method.
Reboot the system.
Allow a few minutes to stabilize.
After rebooting, run UBM with the browser closed.
Share the results via a link.
Here are three concerns:
1 I have never updated my BIOS,
2 I can't update my chipset and receive errors, even when security is off, because it can't locate the file I just downloaded.
3 What is UBM? Edit userbenchmark
The latest UBM is ready, with two of my old RAM sticks taken out and all background tasks stopped.
