I understand you meant my previous statement was quite extreme. I only mentioned it to test the logic. In reality, how should one decide the frame rate when choosing between consistent frame time and a steady 50 frames per second? For instance, in practical use, a frame rate of 140 would seem more reasonable than what I described. Therefore, the time between frames should be shorter compared to maintaining a fixed frame rate.

Framerate is higher than FPS for you. Most of your games run at fixed FPS or VSYNC to ensure smooth visuals.
