As mentioned in the title, I recently replaced my hard drive with two new SSDs. During the reinstallation, something unexpected occurred. Now, when I play Overwatch, my frames keep dropping and stuttering, and the visuals aren’t consistent. I’ve downloaded the GPU drivers, which should resolve this. For context, I’m using a 144Hz monitor. When I turn off VSync, I usually get around 250 FPS, but now it’s about 190 and keeps fluctuating. It even spikes when VSync is active. Additionally, I noticed another problem: VSync was treating my 144Hz monitor as a 60Hz one and capped me at 60 FPS, even though I enabled the 144Hz setting via Windows. I’m probably missing a crucial driver or software component, but I don’t know what it could be. I’m running a 1050 Ti EVGA SSC GPU, an i5 8600K processor, and an ASRock Z370 Extreme4.

Adjusted the power settings in nVidia to Performance following a reinstall, since the default would unexpectedly slow down the GPU in high-demand situations where maximum speed was required.

This setting is in the UK region of GeForce Experience. It's a bit unclear how you're getting there, but I'm here to help!

It's located in the NVIDIA Control Panel. When you right-click on GeForce Experience in Task Manager, it should appear as an available choice.

Alex Atkin UK seems confused about VSync. His screen might be misinterpreting the refresh rate, making it look like 60Hz when it's actually 144Hz. This could restrict his frame rate to 60 FPS.

Check the nVidia Control Panel for available resolutions to get a fuller refresh rate list.

I’m trying it out, but I’m not very skilled with this. My frame’s still a bit of an issue too. I played the game for a while to check, but it’s been acting up a little.
