Frame rates decrease when the hard disk disconnects.
I assembled a PC, however, I experienced a fraudulent build that did not meet my specifications. The PC specifications are as follows: Intel Core i7-930 with 8 GB DDR3 RAM, NVIDIA GTX 1650 4GB, 1 TB hard disk, and 240 GB SSD card. I recognize the processor is inadequate for the graphics card and it is an outdated model. Consequently, I stated the build was not as desired. The problem arises when running games such as CS:GO or RUST, resulting in freezes and frame rate drops. Furthermore, upon forcibly ending the game task, the hard disk disconnects, preventing operation of any games installed on that hard disk or SSD card. I attempted to modify SATA and power supply cables for the hard disk but without success. I previously replaced this hard disk approximately two months prior and continue to encounter the same issue. I also tested the PC using only the SSD card and while playing CS:GO, I still experience frame rate drops and freezes, which subsequently cause the entire system to freeze and require a reboot. I understand this is extensive information; however, I urgently need assistance. Here are images depicting the hard disk disconnection when CS:GO becomes unresponsive, following my forced task termination.
Outdated processor, upgrade your system. A nine-year-old CPU offers limited assistance.
Yes, it’s obvious, but could the CPU potentially be responsible for those issues?
