Frame rate fluctuations occur within video games.
Hello, my desktop computer is completely clean; I recently replaced its graphics card with a Geforce GTX 1660, as the prior one ceased functioning. Currently, when attempting to play games, I am experiencing significantly reduced frame rates – for instance, in the Smite game, my FPS is consistently around 20 with a GPU usage of 49%. This system is connected to a stationary display. Here are my PC specifications: Motherboard – H97-HD3 Gigabyte; Operating System – Windows 10 Pro (64-bit); Graphics Card – Geforce GTX 1660; Processor – Intel Core i7-4790 @ 3.60GHz; Memory – 8.0 GB DDR3; Storage – Samsung SSD 850 EVO (120GB) and a ST1000DM003-1ER162 hard drive. Previously, all of this operated without issue.
Utilize Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to uninstall all graphics card drivers, including those from AMD and NVIDIA, and subsequently install the newest NVIDIA driver.
I previously stated that the computer was entirely free of data, and I performed a format on it.
Thank you for your response.
Have you recently updated your Nvidia graphics card drivers to the newest version?
