A colleague assisted me in assembling my desktop computer some time ago, and it ought to perform adequately, yet I frequently experience a significant reduction in frame rates, typically below 15 frames per second, across virtually all of my games. I’m unsure how to resolve this issue, as I possess limited experience with computer hardware.

Specifications:
AMD FX-8350 8 Core Black Edition Processor
Kingston Hyper X Fury HX316C10FRK2/16 16GB (2x8GB) Red
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 770 OC Edition 4GB
ASRock 990FX Extreme3 Motherboard
CoolerMaster Hyper 212 EVO CPU Cooler
EVGA SuperNOVA 750W G2 Gold Power Supply

I’m unable to recall any further details, however, any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Please request additional information if required.

Have you been overclocking your processor? Are your temperatures within a normal range? You should examine your CPU frequency while gaming to determine if you're experiencing a significant decrease. A potential issue might be the voltage regulator module (VRM) on your motherboard; if it overheats, it could temporarily reduce power to the CPU to prevent overheating.
