Hi, I noticed similar issues with my setup. I've upgraded my drivers, but frame drops still occur during medium gameplay. My specs are an RTX 2060 OC with 6GB VRAM, an i5-9400F processor, and 8GB RAM. Anyone have tips to fix this?

Game runs on a hard drive rather than an SSD. Should all applications be closed before launching? [8gb is close to the limit, you shouldn’t run anything else during gameplay] The processor appears capable enough, so performance issues seem unlikely. Many factors could be involved.

Thank you for your reply. The game runs on an SSD, and not all files were deleted, so I’ll close it again next time.

In 2022 8GB RAM is quite limited for handling multiple tasks, so to run smoothly you should minimize everything else and keep only the game running. Some titles require more than 12GB, which would definitely cause lag, but I don’t think Fortnight falls into that category.
