hello there. i have had problems with java edition for a while. i have also got a new ssd and power supply since and have not fixed the problem. my specs are gtx 1070 i7 6700k 1tb ssd 16gb ram. my bedrock edition runs smooth and fine. but my java edition runs bad i get high fps but constant fps drops and stutter and spikes in performance. its unplayable its when moving around. i have tried optifine i have tried different versions etc. i have tried allocating more ram. nothing has helped. i have factory reset as well. does anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it. all my other games like bf5 swbf2 diablo and destiny run fine. its just java edition that runs bad. edit i have also tried using the old launcher as well as technic launcher and badlion client

Are your GPU drivers current? It might be useful to reinstall JAVA. Ensure the 64bit version is installed. Are there any error messages appearing?

It's a funny fact that MC Java uses a lot of CPU power, yet the 6700K should handle Minecraft JE just fine. Are you running it at high performance settings?
