Hi, I've been experiencing this problem with Call of Duty. My computer usually runs smoothly at 50-60 FPS, but it keeps getting stuck around that number. I've tried many solutions over the past month without success.

Adjustments made:
- v-sync off
- Display refresh set to 240
- In-game FPS caps enabled
- Updated GPU drivers and reinstalled
- Removed and reinstalled the game
- Monitor settings changed to 240
- PCIe set to Gen 3
- NVIDIA control panel configured at 240 refresh

Despite these changes, the game still doesn't exceed 50-60 FPS. Could you help me understand why?

Details:
- Motherboard: MSI Z390-A PRO
- CPU: Intel i9 9900K (overclocked to 5.0GHz)
- GPU: RTX 2070 Super (8GB)
- Storage: Samsung 970 Evo Plus M.2 NVMe
- RAM: Trident ZRGBSeries 32GB DDR4 3600MHz
- Power Supply: 850W
- Monitor: 240Hz, 5120x1440 resolution

Since your GPU isn't powerful enough, you should adjust the monitor resolution accordingly. If you lower the game quality to low, it might help. Additionally, if you're using MSI Afterburner, check the FPS setting there as well.

Is this still adequate for a 2070 model with 8GB storage?
All game configurations are adjusted to low settings for optimal FPS.
I’ll review the afterburner option later, but it shouldn’t be restricted.

Well, I can note that the visuals are inferior to Mintor since 2070 Super isn't able to hit 240 fps, but after you shared the game, I believe you should aim for over 60 frames per second. Moreover, you need to enable Wesnak to properly display Mintor with the graphics. First, observe when the visuals become strong and you wish to surpass the frame miner's performance. And the other option is to review the graphics control panel settings.

I’m just hoping for anything above 50-60. The biggest jumps I see are 90-100 in menus or loading screens. Just when the warzone loads it drops to around 40fps.
Panel settings are all set to 240 to avoid any issues. I don’t think that’s ideal, but I’m looking for something better than now, lol.
What’s Wesnak and Mintor? I searched online but didn’t find any results.

Brother, attempt to lower the game's resolution, like setting it to 1080, and observe if the frame rate improves. If it does, the main issue likely lies with the monitor, because its high resolution prevents the GPU from achieving a higher FPS. In the menu you select 100, but in the game it only reaches up to 40. I suggest changing your graphics settings if you aim for at least 200 FPS on this machine, especially when playing WARZON or CAD MW. I recommend using a graphics card such as RX 6900 or 6800xt.
