I began using pubg recently and observed that the settings were set to ultra. I experienced significant FPS drops throughout the game, particularly at the beginning. After adjusting to higher settings, the improvement was minimal. It seems unlikely my PC is the issue, given my hardware (GTX 1060 and Ryzen 5 1400). Could it be that the game hasn't been fully optimized yet? Is this a typical occurrence?

It's the game, you have no control over it—perhaps just lower the postprocessing settings. Even then, you'll still experience significant drops in frames per second.

PUBG requires a 1080Ti for smooth FPS, but the game is broken—there’s nothing you can do except wait for an update.

I achieve stable performance at 50-60 frames per second using a 970 and an i5 4460.

He just wants a better frame rate on his 1080 Ti in PUBG.

Absolutely, it's frustrating in such a high-stakes competition like PUBG.

Install the game on an SSD, as it wasn't functioning properly before moving it to the SSD.
