Close all background apps? Try a performance booster. Many people fix CPU issues this way, though I believe your system handles it well—maybe BF4 has a different approach. Reinstall?

To reinstall it, you can use a re-download. For boot programs, check your system requirements or the official documentation.

I'm not sure if the i3 will be sufficient. I recall using an i5 3470 where it ran at around 95-100% CPU usage.

Delete the game from your origin library, then install it again. I would say that it has a 20% chance of working Here is a game booster, although ive never used this one, ive heard good things about it http://www.razerzone.com/cortex/game-booster it doesnt overclock your CPU or anything, it just pauses a lot of processes in the background while you are playing

However, a month ago the game ran smoothly... I hadn't encountered this issue before.
