Hello everyone!
I'm experiencing this problem where games don't feel as smooth as they should, even when I'm achieving over 60 frames per second. It seems like the performance drops to around 25-30 FPS. The only game that doesn't seem to be impacted by this is League of Legends, but it still runs at 100+ FPS. Other titles such as AC Unity or Wolfenstein the New Colossus appear to struggle a lot with this issue, even if they drop slightly below 60 (like 55 FPS). The controls feel very responsive, every click or key press works perfectly, but the visuals seem laggy. I've also tried playing Minecraft with shaders to check, since it's a Java game and it does affect performance, even at 60 FPS.
I'm really unsure how to fix this. I've lowered settings and resolutions in all my games, but the issue persists.

Note: This isn't related to my HDD speed (maybe someone will say my hard drive can't load things fast enough). I've tested running some games on another HDD and even an SSD, but nothing changed.

Specs:
i5 7400 - 3.5 GHz
MSI B150 GAMING M3 Motherboard
8GB DDR4 2400 MHz
MSI RX 480 GAMING X 4GB
1TB WD BLUE HDD
Corsair 600W 80+ Bronze

What kind of monitor are you using? This seems to be the main point of discussion. You might want to consider replacing your existing screen to match the increased frame rates.

The monitor operates at 75Hz, not 60Hz. To achieve a smoother experience, you should aim for 75fps or adjust it to run at 60Hz.

Only Freesync offers some improvement, though it's not exceptional. It could be due to the 75 Hz setting or possibly a faulty HDMI cable. Alternatively, using a display port might resolve the issue.

Adjust the frequency to 60 hz for better clarity.

I tried it again, but still no results. I’ll attempt it with the display port next time. If that doesn’t work, I’ll switch to another monitor and check if it improves things. Thanks for your help!
