Hi everyone,
I’m reaching out for some assistance. About four or five days ago, my FPS began dropping across all games—CSGO and World of Tanks included—and Chrome started to lag. Eventually, I decided to reinstall Windows 10. After installing every driver and downloading CSGO, I checked the FPS results; it was still playable though sometimes low, but in CSGO it was extremely poor. My FPS caps at around 70, and when I look at a wall, it jumps to 230 (my usual rate) before dropping back down to 70. I’ve spent four hours in this game trying to optimize it, yet nothing seems to work. My system specs are: Intel i5-4670, Nvidia GTX 1050ti, 12GB DDR3 RAM, an SSD of 120GB, a 550W PSU, and an Asus H81m-a. I’m really stuck and don’t know what’s causing this issue.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
Check the stickered information for 550W—it doesn't reveal the brand or model, just the build quality.
Consider these steps:
1) Download the newest drivers from Nvidia's support site
2) Use DDU to remove the drivers
3) Reinstall the latest drivers with administrator privileges
Also, let me know your Windows 10 version, BIOS version for your motherboard, and the available space on your SSD.

PSU is an RX 550PA. It seems to be around 5 years old or something similar.
I reinstalled my Windows yesterday to get the latest update.
I plan to try the DDU method next.

I completed the DDU process and updated the driver, but the performance remains at 70 fps. Are there other options to consider?
