My performance drops when someone hits me or I hit them, plus it slows down when I use guns. I also experience stutters every five seconds on the UKN training grounds. My PC is brand new, less than 24 hours old, with Ryzen 7 7800X3D 4070 Ti, an Intel 850CE, a 32GB DDR5 SATA SSD, and Corsair Vengeance Purple AsiaHorse cables. The issue is really bad—I’ve spent two hours trying to fix it. It seems the game is the worst, especially with GPU usage crashing during fights. I’ll share a video showing the lag in action.
The frame rate decreases during this event, indicating a CPU limitation. However, with a 7800X3D... We should start by reviewing the most basic components first. Are there any recent BIOS updates? Has the latest AMD driver been installed? Is the EXPO profile ready?
Verify monitor configurations—ensure G-Sync is active and consider turning it off. Disable Vsync as well. Test Fullscreen versus windowed/borderless modes. Confirm default settings are enabled except for Expo. Avoid overclocking or using a curve optimizer in BIOS.
I've tested it both with and without V-Sync, G-Sync, fullscreen, windowed, XMP, Expo. If needed, I can reset the BIOS settings and then exit.
