i bought assassins creed odyssey two weeks ago and just a couple of days ago it began causing major issues. it started last week with assassins creed and when i first began it would crash on the loading screen or drastically reduce my normal fps, making the game unplayable. i assumed it was just an optimization problem and waited for a patch, but nothing has been fixed yet. i’m starting to believe there might be an issue with my system. anyone have any advice?

Have you refreshed your Nvidia Driver recently? If yes, attempt to revert to an older version and verify the changes.

It often happens to me after using AC: Odyssey's newest release. Sometimes it disappears quickly, other times I need to restart the game. My guess is more Ubisoft mischief.

So I believe I resolved the crashing issue, but after that I went back to the previous drivers and it didn't fix the FPS problem.
